Birdwatchers may be lucky enough to spot herons, egrets, wagtails, kingfishers, ducks, jays etc. depending on the season. Riverside and aquatic plants such as reeds, water lilies, loosestrifes and iris attract dragonflies and butterflies.
For plant-lovers the garden is home to many varieties native to the southern hemisphere such as, red-hot poker, bugle lily, bottlebrush, Phormium, etc…
In the wooded area our 2 very friendly, inquisitive, greedy dwarf billy goats will keep you company.
